RFID With Sensor Data

This application demonstrates scanning RFID tags with a Microsensys PENsolid UHF RFID scanner. This scanner connects to an Android based device via Bluetooth and can scan any UHF RFID EPC Gen 2 tag. It also supports scanning sensor data from Microsensys RFID sensor tags. These sensors can collect data such as temperature and pressure, and the data is collected within this TracerPlus application.

There are two mobile forms included with this application. The first form allows a user to begin scanning for RFID tags and collecting the sensor data from a compatible Microsensys RFID sensor tag. The RFID EPC value and sensor data are collected within the grid control to be saved to the TracerPlus database. The second form is a mass RFID scanning form. A user can begin scanning and all EPC tag data is collected within the grid control. All data saved to the TracerPlus database can be sent to any backend system using TracerPlus Connect.

This application is compatible with any UHF RFID tag, or UHF sensor tag from Microsensys.
